This Is What Sets Us Apart from Other Dental Clinics

At Dentistry on 7th we’ve served a variety of clients for many years. Our customers include adults, children, and the elderly. Our clients leave our clinic satisfied because of our professional, skilled, and friendly staff.

Over the years, we’ve noticed that many of our clients travel a good distance to visit their favourite Hamilton dental clinic – even if they have closer options. Here is what sets us apart from other dental clinics:

#1 We’re Passionate About Oral Care

At Dentistry on 7th, we’re passionate about giving our clients the best possible oral care. As soon as you step in, you’ll be greeted with a smile by our friendly and compassionate team. We’re especially passionate about treating children.

Parents love bringing their kids to Dentistry on 7th because we try to make them as comfortable as possible. We also understand that each client is different, and we believe in catering to every child’s individual needs.

We have entertainment options such as television sets on the ceiling. For children who need more help, we offer laughing gas and sedation. Our philosophy is that prevention is better than cure. This philosophy is especially important for children.

Our preventative treatments include diagnostic exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants. We’ve particularly excited to offer silver diamine fluoride (SDF). This fast and painless treatment can stop existing cavities in children in its tracks.

Children with oral health issues can develop painful symptoms. This can affect their confidence and increase their stress levels, lowering their performance at school. We also offer emergency pediatric services. Give us a call to learn more about how we can help your child in case they are suffering from the following symptoms that may require immediate attention:

  • Damaged Tooth
  • Avulsed Tooth
  • Abscessed Tooth
  • Extremely Painful Toothache
  • Extreme Tooth Sensitivity
  • Dislodged Tooth Fillings

#2 We’re Experienced and Qualified

We can’t speak for anyone else, but our clinic has some of the most qualified and experienced team of dentists.

Raju Sarna: A graduate of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Dr. Sarna completed his AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) and served as a Preceptor in the AEGD clinic. He has also earned multiple prestigious Fellowships and is considered something of an artist of dentistry because of his eye for aesthetic detail.

Noha Mechael: A highly qualified and experienced Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Mechael provides impeccable service to her clients. As a mother of beautiful twins, she’s especially passionate about treating younger clients.

Erica: Erica fell in love with dentistry when braces helped transform her smile. She’s a highly skilled Dental Hygienist who is happy to share her passion for dentistry with others. Erica is as almost as passionate about dentistry as she is about Hamilton. A true Hamiltonian, she loves everything the city has to offer.

Helping Dentistry on 7th run like a well-oiled machine are Operations Manager, Tania, and Office Manager Tracy. Both are friendly, knowledgeable, and part of the reason why we’re a popular dental clinic.

#3 We Use the Best Technology

At Dentistry on 7th, our cut-edge technology enables us to provide a variety of services, including orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, root canal therapy, and more. We’re also the number one choice for dental implants in Hamilton because we offer the gold standard in tooth replacement.

If you’ve lost some teeth, then your ability to chew and speak may have declined. Even the loss of one tooth can affect other teeth in your mouth. These issues can also affect your bite and result in stress for your jaw and facial muscles.

Dr. Sarna, who has achieved a Fellowship in Implantology from ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantology), can perform one of the most advanced types of implant dentistry and bone grafting. He considers multiple aspects of your physiology before offering a treatment plan.

Remember, our dental implants are the most technologically advanced. Not only do they feel and look like natural teeth, but with proper care, they can last a lifetime. Just like natural teeth, these dental implants stimulate the jaw and prevent bone loss.

Here are some more examples of technology that elevate our services:

  • Fotona Lightwalker: This laser technology allows us to improve a variety of procedures with precision.
  • Single Tooth Anesthesia System® (STA® System): Patients feel much less pain when anesthesia is delivered with this technology due to its pinpoint accuracy.
  • 3D Cone Beam CT Scan: Not only does this medical imaging technology give us more detail than traditional X-rays, but it’s also safer.
  • Seiler Microscope: Like the 3D Cone Beam CT Scan, the Seiler Microscope allows us to view problem areas in much greater detail. Issues that may have been missed with the naked eye are caught early because of this technology.
  • VELscope Oral Cancer Screening System: This technology helps us catch oral cancer early and painlessly. Although oral cancer is uncommon, it can be deadly if not treated on time.

#4 We Offer a Variety of Services

Our clients trust us with their oral hygiene because of the many services we provide. We encourage our clients to visit us periodically so that we can keep your oral care on track. Even if you brush and floss your teeth regularly, you may miss harmful bacteria in hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. When you come to us for teeth cleaning, we remove harmful plaque and tartar before it damages your teeth further.

Plaque and tartar can also damage your gums. If you develop gum disease, you may have swelling, soreness, and bleeding gums. At Dentistry on 7th, we can treat gingivitis before it reaches an advanced stage.

We also offer cosmetic dentistry, where we can improve your smile through a variety of treatment plans. Even with some subtle changes to the shade, shape, spacing, height, and width of your teeth, we can transform your smile.

Whether you are a child or an adult, we can also correct the shape your teeth with our orthodontic services. We offer traditional braces and clear aligners.

These are some of the characteristics that set Dentistry on 7th apart from other dental clinics. Visit us to see what we have to offer firsthand. Our friendly, professional, and skilled staff will use the latest technology to offer you the most effective and comfortable treatment plan.
